Log Horizon season 3 been very heavy on the politics so far, which is when by me with them setting the stakes for the action.

As far as the new season goes it has alot of shows im enjoying despite it being heavy on the Isekai and Fantasy shows, the main ones the crowds are following being Mushoku Tensei (the web novel that started the mainstream isekai trend, and Redo of Healer... which is basically revenge porn packed full of edgy violence of torture and sexual kind not seen since the likes of late 80's/early 90's films.

My anticipated sequels all turned out great so far, World Trigger S2 (best shounen atm with Toei animation actually putting work into it), Dragon Quest Dai, Slime S3, Yuru Camp S2 and Non Non Biyori S3 (saving Attack on Titan till it finishes, i know it has alot of plot directions i don't like, so i'd rather binge on it rather than a weekly watch)

New Stuff i'm watching, So i'm a Spider (fun monster isekai), Hataraku Saibou Black (Cells at Work but inside a smoking, alcoholic, stressed out body), Wonder Egg Priority(kyoani's show, Magic Girl fighting), Urasekai Picnic(it's persona) and Black Arrow (fun mecha) are all worth a watch.

Just finished Fist of the North Star. I was enjoying Lost Paradise so much I decided to watch the TV series and then go back to it.

The first 100 episodes up until the end of Raoh's arc are fantastic. The last 50 though.... eh. The retconning is through the roof and Kaioh just isn't as good as Raoh. It really feels like it should have ended at Raoh's arc and maybe that was the plan until it became too popular to cancel.

        Great show either way.

        -edit-
Also, Kokuoh is the most badass horse in anime. Full stop in fact.

I keep seeing that Wonder Egg Priority so curious about checking it out at some point.

I've been watching some shows that I missed the first time around so have managed to watch A Certain Scientific Railgun season 1 and most of Yozakura Quartet bar the last OVA (I quite enjoy the manga so was eager to see what they do with this).

There's some padding with the episodes in Railgun but its genuinely funny at times, the action's good and the sci-fi concepts are interesting.

I didn't mind the first series of Yozakura but switching studios to Tatsunoko really helped. It took a little too adjust to the different character designs but the animation during the action is film-like at times which I appreciate. My only hope would be that they make more but the last OVA came out in early 2014 so chances are slim (the manga's still going though. Hopefully author Suzuhito Yasuda can wrap it up by around vol.30 but drawing a popular series means a regular income, so...)

Just gone back through Lucky Star and Azumanga.

Both still stunningly brilliant and funny!

Ah Onepiece is super enjoyable at the moment, not sure if it's filler but damn it's fun. I'm loving seeing tales from Rogers generation as well as Oden's adventures.

Slowly catching up with the spring seasons new stuff:

Godzilla Singular Point - really enjoying this show, first 3 episodes have mostly been human detective stuff, but it looks like this universe will have every single Kaiju and Robot/Ultraman in one form or another and probably multiple Godzilla types.

I'd like to watch some of the recent episodes of One Piece as I've heard they're putting a decent amount of effort in with the Wano arc material.

I finally got around to watching some of the series on Blu-ray that I picked up during the last All the Anime Xmas sale. I've managed to watch Tokyo ESP (fine), Kekkai Sensen (entertaining and quite crazy), Blazblue: Alter Memory (good for a fan of the game series but not so groundbreaking) and am halfway through Gangsta atm (I've enjoyed it so far but have heard it takes a dive in the later episodes. That'll be a shame as the animation studio has done a good job of showing why Worrick and Nick ended up together and treats one of the main characters who's deaf with a good amount of respect (at least as far as animated series go)).

I've got Chrono Crusade and The Devil is a Part-Timer in the 'to watch' stack currently as well. I'm quite enjoying watching through these series at about 1-2 a week so far (it makes a change from buying series and just throwing them on the bedroom shelf for months).

Finally got to see tenki no ko, the animation & story was beautiful. It feels very much like kimi no name but it was it's own thing but i can see where people make the comparison though.

I bought Aldnoah Zero season 1 the other day for £6 so will make a start on that soon given I finished The Devil is a Part-Timer this motioning (really enjoyed its blend of comedy and well-animated action). There's going to be another season soon so I'm glad that I got the chance to catch up.

Aldnoah Zero is a guilty pleasure of mine, season 1 is really good fun and the music is great but that season 2 which finishes the story drops the ball... It's kind of like reverse gundam, the bad guys have the Gundam and the good guys have grunt machines.

At least it sounds like I've picked up the right season. I'll watch it this weekend and see what I make of it.

Man is Dragon Quest Dai awesome, shounen shows having a smaller cast of heroes that actually have screen time to grow and they affect the Dai's chances of winning against the big bads is much better than having a crowded arms length list of nobodies who don't matter to the main plot at all (looking at you My Hero). Popp and Croc deserve wingman of the year, for all years.

Reports are Kentaro Miura of Berserk fame has passed away at 54, one of the greats of manga. The long term joke for the last decade was he'll never finish Berserk or we're still on the Boat, and now that's likely stand even if he passed on notes for how it's to finish it wouldn't be the same.

Makes me think about other manga that go on hiatus due to health reasons and whether or not those will get finished like Hunter X Hunter and World Trigger.

I'm hoping nothing happens to Oda, i'm wayyyy too invested in onepiece after watching it for 20 years i need to see the end or i will be devastated. Same goes for the VA cast we already lost one but it won't be the last i'm sure as some are getting on in years.
