Yes they are making yet another addition to the series & this time for 3DS it will be interesting to see if they use better samples for the instruments this time around. Amusingly it has some kind of vocaloid thing going on so you can sing the lyrics in the game using yourself hehe. Looks like another worthy addition to the series.
Lets just hope they dropped that damn stupid save slot limit for download songs where they are permanently locked onto your cart once you download them.
