      I want to buy some of these offers, but when I go to the website, it wants me to pay via credit card, despite having ?23.49 in my MS account.

      Why won't they take my money? WHY?!

        Isn't there an option to change payment to points on there?
        It used to do this with the games for gold, just swap it.
        I may be wrong as my memory is .............. terrible!

          I tried to do it (I have either lost or sold Skate), but it said it wasn't available in my region. Dammit. But I need the US version for my US 360..... Denied.

            For Xbox 360 contents, you can only use your account's balance when buying from the console. I believe Xbox One contents can be purchased from the website without an associated credit card. Even free Games With Gold follow this bizarre rule.

            @charlesr

            That means the game is IP-locked. I've had that happen before with games such as Resident Evil 4, Civilization Revolution, both Case Zero and Case West and, rather surprisingly, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise. They enforce the IP check when the game shouldn't be available in a particular region.

              Thanks Deuteros!

              I picked up Skate 3 and Mirror's Edge (so Charlesr will like me) and I'm hovering over the buy buttons for Just Cause 2 and Bulletstorm even though I have them to play on PS3 (I prefer to game upstairs on the 360).

              The latter is about ?2.24! Madness!

                    That sounds like something I should research about. By having an UK account and living in Portugal, I've locked myself away from the games I mentioned earlier.

                    Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will be my only purchase from this sale.
