Tokido is such a master of V-Shifting through fireballs, he has done it so consistently in all his matches. Something to lab.

Have been loving catching as much of the Capcom Cup as possible this week. Particularly stoked to see EndingWalker leave his pool undefeated (just!), who I'm absolutely rooting for to take it all. Another that I'm really keen to see do well is MisterCrimson, who I've not caught much of in pools, but I have a lot of love for. I understand Dhalsim's considered top tier, but it's still fascinating to watch him be used as a rushdown character.
Also think there's an argument to be made for Luke's prominence in the latest balance patches to have somewhat backfired. Yes, he's everywhere, and everyone knows him in time for SF6, but it feels like the general opinion is to root for whoever *isn't* playing him. Seeing FGC legends abandon long-standing character loyalties for him is actually pretty sad to watch.

Yeah rooting for Endingwalker. I find it amazing that a kid so young got himself mixed up deep into the game which you could be forgiven that may only appeal to us oldies that have grown up with the series. That could be a bad take on my part. My daughter is interested (she's 8). I reckon I will train her on SF6, starting with Modern controls or something.
Who else am I rooting for? I'd also like to see Mister Crimson get up there. Was hoping Itabashi Zangief and Tokido make it into groups.
Agree though, even if you're not into SF the commentary and knowledge the commentators provide has been hype. Above, the matches have been tense, calculated and fire! Great to watch the pros with the there perfect spacing for footsies and those confirms!
Not gonna lie, I will miss SFV.Last edited by hudson; 17-02-2023, 18:55.

SF6 looks like it'll be quite technical out of her box so I join forward to how it'll perform on the Capcom Pro Tour once it releases in June (I think it might be a little special imho).Last edited by Paddy; 18-02-2023, 17:24.
