You'll be thrilled to hear there's a fourth film being made...

I'm looking forward to John Wick, Bash, but I'm going to wait for the cinema to see it.

Dracula untold, what a load of racist crap. So much wasted effort to humanise one of Hollywood's greatest villains wtf

I'm looking forward to seeing Jupiter Ascending after skim-reading this review:
London's favourite escort agency featuring discreet & friendly naughty models, famed porn-stars and fun British nymphos from £200. Incalls & Outcalls across London 24/7

Sounds like the Wachowski's are back on form, plus it'll be good to see a film that's not a sequel, of which there's a lot this year.

The Champions, about China's struggle to get to the olympics. Good fight scenes and a slightly bittersweet story.

Currently halfway through Flying Swords of Dragons Gate. So far, so good.

Birdman some of the funniest, saddest, realiest acting you'll see. Some amazing long takes which will have you questioning how they did it and will get you to love Keaton all over again. On a side note, they really missed a trick when they didnt get a film version of Preacher out soon enough with this guy starring. Could've/should've been epic.

              All of them.

In other news, I watched Odd Thomas. It's ok, straight to dvd offering ala Stephen Kings films, but includes a fantastic unintentional camel toe.

                Two things:

                1. At first I read your post as "in between the Chipmunk films we watched the odd Thomas (The Tank Engine) episode, which features a fantastic unintentional camel toe."

                2. Did you really post that on 01/01/1970?!

Before Christmas I somehow convinced the missus to watch the first X Men film when it was on TV. Since then we've watched 2, Last Stand, First Class and Days of Future Past.
Seizing this momentum, I recorded Avengers Assemble on Boxing Day. We've watched that and Hulk off the tv, and last night she agreed to watch Iron Man on dvd. I'm on a roll here. I don't think she's as taken with comic book stuff as I am, but seems perfectly happy to enjoy a couple of hours of escapist entertainment featuring superpowers and gadgetry. Result.

I've got Iron Man 2 and 3 ready to go, Agents of SHIELD downloaded from Sky, and I'll accidentally buy the Thor and Captain America films in readiness. I've already filed an early request to see Avengers 2 at the pictures, so I'll make sure we've watched all the preceding material beforehand. Skilfully done, I hope you agree.

                      Ouija
Heard it was bad and it was, minimal effort horror

                      Big Hero 6
Disney pulls it out the bag for the fourth time in a row. The short Feast before it was also good stuff again, they're out Pixaring Pixar at the moment. Even the missus enjoyed it

The Four. I think the plot was about counterfeiting but I could be wrong.

Took the kids to see Big Hero 6 today. They loved it, I loved it. I can say for certain that this will end up being my film of 2015. Brilliant movie.

Saw Jupiter Ascending today in 3D on a big screen.

I was expecting something a lot more hard sci-fi based upon some of the impressions that I've read, what I got was a really polished action film set in a Sc-Fi world, It wasn't as clever or as original as I thought it might be.

The action was great , the CGI was super impressive and it was a really good film to see in 3D as it added depth and was actually very comfortable.

You call it polished but you seem to have avoided saying whether you thought it was actually a good movie or not. I'm curious about the movie but the track record is putting me off. Could be convinced to go though.
