When Daniel Craig gave an interview about his future with the James Bond franchise only a few weeks after his fourth go at the character “Spectre” had wrapped filming, he said a quote which he has since never left down – namely that he’d rather cut his wrists than do another Bond movie. Now, four […]

Daniel Craig reconfirms that after this film he's done with Bond in any capacity

      He said that last time.

      He should really learn to...

Teaser is out for the upcoming trailer:

I know it's a really downer outlook but even in 14 seconds it looks like the shots could have come from any of the last three meh entries.

                The first trailer:

There's a practically claustrophobic spectre of the previous films in this trailer so heavily it could make the sky fall. It looks like all the previous Craig plots rolled into one film with the expected plot of having Bonds brief quantum moment of solace interrupted in some sort of all out royale sending on one last mission, with enough time for a brief stop at a casino, yet no time to die.

Emphasis on action which makes it lively at least but it reeks of how tired this incarnation is. Fully expecting the films value entirely to rest on how much it draws the arc to a complete close. If the plan is to make a sixth film with a new actor I'm done, if it's a full reboot putting some joy back into it then thank god.

Pretty sure I have seen this one already. It was okay. Enjoyable action, a few creepy scenes they should have given more thought to and a plot that was all too convenient but, yeah, seen it and it's not bad.

This is why I don't like bond. It will get one film right and then it'll either become a parady of itself or hump the format of the success into oblivion.

                        Usually both.

Erm, I thought that looked great.

My only reservation is that all I hear when Malek speaks is Freddie Mercury.

I think for three films now Bond is the one franchise I'm gleefully awaiting a reboot of. It needs to get back to individual films where canon means little.

This excites me in the same way cement bags have dust on them.

I'm a bit Aspie, about 52%, and my childhood hero was Sir Roger Moore and I had no dad about at the time and I used to watch the Bond movies and Sir Roger Moore INEVITABLY shaped my toddleristic world and made my personality consistently 53% PURE Sir Roger Moore.

He was my own personal Godhead.

I'm just raising an eyebrow at all this shid right now.

Has everyone forgotten THE SPY WHO LOVED ME happened???!!!

                              Pah.

"shaken, not stirred". Hat's what we need.

                                Freddie Mercury is the villain?
