I think that's the quandary the franchise finds itself in. Recent Bond's deal with it by saying he's got very dated ideals but still does them... and they're by far the most popular Bond films that have been made. Bond seems to exist in a bubble where audiences want him to remain dated in those ways.

The one and only Grace Jones, who was a Bond girl herself in the memorable role of May Day in 1985’s “A View to a Kill,” has apparently dropped out of appearing in the upcoming “Bond 25”. A report in The Sun indicates the 70-year old actress and singer was set to make a surprise […]

That's my alias for the Casino Royale Secret Cinema, which I'm getting a bit excited about now!
Can't wait to snap some necks, shoot some thugs and bone some supermodels.
(Realistically, watch the film after playing some Blackjack)

Secret Cinema was really good!
It's best to know as little as possible, but basically you're tasked with surveilling a target and reporting back the MI6.
Depending on who your target is affects where in the world you'll end up.
All of the locations are really well done and it's not cheap at all.
After all the espionage, you end up at Casino Royale and then you watch the film, but it's enhanced with real actors doing some of the scenes in front of the screen.
I went with a friend who had a different target and we had very different experiences, so it's incredibly well done, logistically.
I'd definitely do another one!
