I know the wealth of Cinematic Universes has often irked DT but one thought that crossed my mind today... from late this year/2022 the term actually ends. Soon we'll be transforming to:

          The Marvel Cinematic Multiverse (MCM)
          The DC Cinematic Multiverse (DCM)

The DC FanDome virtual event last year was a big success, so much so that WarnerMedia has announced plans to hold another one this year. Set for October 16th, the announcement says confirms the event’s return and suggests this will be a one-day-only event as opposed to the two-parter of last year. The broadcast in […]

A few years back came a report that Michael B. Jordan was speaking with Warner Bros. Pictures about starring in a potential “Superman” film. What seemed a slim possibility suddenly took on more weight when it was announced that J.J. Abrams and writer Ta-Nehisi Coates were working together on a new “Superman” film – one […]

Over thirty years ago, the production of Tim Burton’s “Batman” made use of the English estate of Knebworth House as the exterior for Wayne Manor – the mansion of Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne character. Interiors were shot at Hattfield House. For 1992’s “Batman Returns,” Burton used a custom model for the exteriors. Chris Nolan’s “Batman […]

Over thirty years ago Tim Burton filmed outside Knebworth House using it as the exterior for Batman's Wayne Manor. Now, the crew of The Flash are at Burghley House that looks a lot like Knebworth presumably there to film the new scenes for Keaton.

An extensive new feature piece in The Hollywood Reporter has gone into more details about the new “Superman” film in the works at Warner Bros. Pictures. The project, to be produced by J.J. Abrams and penned by acclaimed writer Ta-Nehisi Coates, will NOT be tied to Henry Cavill’s DCEU-led version of the character. Rather, much […]

New information about the Black Superman movie seems to suggest it's a few years off and will certainly end up as a DC Elsewhere movie like The Batman and Joker. There's no mention in the link but on Era it was also mentioned there's some studio chatter on if it should be period set in the 1800's.
