A new Superman movie is in the work by JJ Abrams:

Given the plans for the DCU canon it seems incredibly most likely that this new Superman movie will be part of the the Elsewhere films line up or a multiverse incarnation alternate to Cavill's.

What’s he going to do with that? Remake the Richard Donner movie with a less charismatic cast?

It seems as though Emilia Clarke might have signed on to replace Amber Heard as Mera in Aquaman 2, which is really strange to me.

Not verified as of yet but according to a report from Forbes Amber Heard has been fired from Aquaman 2 with Warner Bros lining up Emelia Carke as her replacement as Mera.

A major remaster of Zack Snyder’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will arrive on the HBO Max service on March 18th – the same day as his four-hour recut of “Justice League” hits the streamer. This remaster, which is also coming to 4K disc several days later on March 23rd, is the three-hour extended […]

On the same day that Justice League: The Snyder Cut releases, a new 4K remaster of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition will also be released.

I'm not for actresses losing roles even in the case of real-world issues drawing more attention than their on-screen performances. However if this is true it could work as Clarke and Momoa worked together in GoT before so will have that familiarity with each other.

When's Aquaman 2 going to be released btw? The DCU seems to waver between good film, bad film followed by average film or in the case of Justice League an indulgent epic-length remake to satisfy the original director's vision (it might turn out well though admittedly).

It's currently targeting Xmas 2022 so set to film in a couple of months. The rumours are still unconfirmed at the moment, perhaps the biggest point of interest so far is how silent Warner Bros has been in denying them. The thing mostly is that they lost their high ground when they booted Depp. Any studio cold feet they had applies to her too given the clear evidence he's provided and if she remains onboard they've chosen to weather that just like they do Rowling's increasing bigotry so they caught themselves out by singling Depp out.

Laugh is, Heard isn't a hook for the film so they gain nothing by keeping her around given the clear problem she represents. Clearly someone at WB is a fan.

Kiersey Clemons has closed her deal to reprise her role as Barry Allen’s love interest Iris West in the upcoming “The Flash” film at Warner Bros. Pictures. 27-year-old Clemons took on the role five years ago for “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” in scenes left on the cutting room floor (scenes which will be restored in […]

Though so far only to be seen in early trailers and reinstated in the non-canon recut Justice League in a weeks time, Kiersey Clemons is being given another shot at being in the DCU having signed on to The Flash in a reprisal of her turn as Iris West.

“Y Tu Mama Tambien” and “Pan’s Labyrinth” actress Maribel Verdu has joined the cast of Andy Muschietti’s “The Flash” movie at Warner Bros. Pictures. Verdu will play the key role of Nora Allen, Barry Allen’s mother who plays an important role in the upcoming film. In the comics and series, Nora’s murder when Barry was […]

Maribel Verdu from Pan's Labyrinth has been cast as Nora Allen in The Flash, meanwhile Billy Crudup has had to drop out of the film which would have seen him return as Henry Allen due to scheduling conflicts.

Oscar-nominated “Promising Young Woman” director Emerald Fennell has been set to pen the film adaptation of the DC Comics title “Zatanna” at Warner Bros. Pictures and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot. A new installment in the DC Extended Universe, the project marks the character’s first appearance both in the DCEU and on the big screen. No […]

Fans finally got to see all four hours of “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” from Thursday and so far the reaction has been excellent if a little divided. All seem to agree it’s an improvement on the Joss Whedon cut, how much of an improvement is up for debate. From my observations, a sizable contingent still […]

The CEO of WarnerMedia has also stepped up again to confirm that no matter what the studio won't be making any more DCU movies helmed by Snyder or entries that will arc his narrative that spanned Man of Steel through to Justice League. Despite the Snyder Cuts success and the working cut already existing she has also confirmed that they will never release Suicide Squad: The Ayer Cut.
