One of the longest standing complaints about the DC Films initiative at Warner Bros. Pictures is that it has lacked a figurehead, someone whom decisions to default to and can serve as the public face of it in the way Marvel Studios does with Kevin Feige. Previously Jon Berg and Geoff Johns were in that […]

While the recent shifts in management and strategy at Warner Bros. Pictures and their DC Films branch have raised questions as to the future of those comic book adaptations, one actor involved in the DCEU seems to think one of the solo films is progressing. Joe Morton, who plays the father of Ray Fisher’s Victor […]

Pictures has set John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the directors of “Vacation” and the upcoming “Game Night,” have entered negotiations to helm the DC films entry “Flashpoint”. The project has been on hold while actor Ezra Miller has been filming the “Fantastic Beasts” sequel, but with his schedule now clear and with […]

Also, Warners looks set to hire the directors of Vacation to helm Flashpoint which is now ready to proceed and leans more heavily towards the comedy end of the scale now.

A new rumor has surfaced in the past few days indicating that actor Henry Cavill will make his next appearance as Superman in the upcoming “Shazam!” film at Warner Bros. Pictures reports Revenge of the Fans. “Shazam” famously isn’t going to feature Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Black Adam, Shazam’s main villain in the comics, […]

At last report, Ben Affleck’s future as the current big screen incarnation of Batman was undecided and that remains the case for the moment. A new report at Revenge of the Fans claims Affleck scored far more than he bargained for with his work as Batman and the role was “not what he thought it […]

Word is that Affleck is still on the fence about continuing as Batman and his talks with Warners on the subject focus less on money and more on the context of what he will appear in, presumably he wants the role to continue in non-cameo highly thought of entries.

At present only three DC films are definitely on the way – “Aquaman” at the end of this year, and both “Shazam!” and the “Wonder Woman” sequel next year. Several others are likely as well, such as the “Suicide Squad” sequel and “The Batman,” but arguably the most likely to go forward next is the […]

Also, the guys lined up for Flashpoint have confirmed work hasn't started yet as they're still working out their contracts. The film is lined up to also feature Arthur Light as the villain with Reverse Flash also featuring in there somewhere.
