It's definitely an interesting wrinkle in the next phase of the MCU, looks like Marvel Studios will be co-producing Spider-Man 3 but may be done for Spider-Man 4

Tonally Sony and Marvel have very different approaches. I enjoy that we have that as the Marvel framework is a little tired already. They are good films but no longer wow as they are a little paint by numbers. They aren't really compatible. Sony is cheesier, I guess, but these ARE comic films.

Marvel is clearing house over at the newly renamed Marvel TV Studios and have scrapped the planned animated comedies “Howard the Duck” and “Tigra & Dazzler” which had been in the works for Hulu. Both shows were announced alongside “MODOK,” “Hit Monkey” and the team-up project “The Offenders” nearly a year ago as being in […]

Marvel Studios continue to decimate the legacy of Marvel TV, now they have axed the Tigra & Dazzler series as well as the planned series for Howard the Duck

Hit Monkey, Helstrom and MODOK now seem to be the last of the planned series still gestating.

A couple of Marvel-related rumors and hiring news reports have emerged today. First up, Bleeding Cool says two more TV series are in the works for Disney+, one is based on the “Secret Invasion” comic storyline and the other deals with an “A-List character from the MCU”. Next, The Illuminerdi says a casting call has […]

Two more Disney+ shows are said to be in the works, one focused on one of the A-tier MCU characters (Hulk?) the other based on the Secret Invasion storyline.

Owen Wilson has joined the cast of the upcoming Marvel and Disney+ series “Loki”. The series will reportedly feature the scheming “Thor” character popping up at different times in human history and influencing major events. Specifics of Wilson’s character are under wraps, but if true then this is the first time the actor has worked […]

With Disney announcing an October launch for the second season of “The Mandalorian,” it comes as little shock that the Mouse House has decided to stagger the releases of its major original series. Disney CEO Bob Iger has confirmed that Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” will premiere on the Disney+ service in […]

Falcon and the Winter Soldier will launch on Disney+ in August whilst WandaVision will launch in December.

So Wanda vision is a period sitcom?

I'm totally subscribing to D+ just for the MCU stuff.

The fact they've got the Hollywood stars in for series is a huge win.

Sam Raimi has been hired to direct Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness!

I’m not a fan of his Spider-Men but Raimi is capable of greatness and is a really good fit for the world of Dr Strange.

That could actually be a bit of brilliant selection, the really weird stuff is going to play straight into his wheelhouse. Now, time for Doctor Strange top open that portal to the Multiverse and Maguire swing through...

Apparently, Raimi is a long-time fan of Doctor Strange too, so it's more than just a convenient fit.

In the wake of yesterday’s report that Marvel Studios is in talks with Sam Raimi to helm “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” Variety has reported that actress Rachel McAdams will not be returning for the follow-up. McAdams portrayed Dr. Christine Palmer, a former flame and now colleague of Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). […]

Recently watched the new Spiderman and while its enjoyable enough it has some massive glaring plot-holes that pretty much pulled me right out of the film thinking eh surely that wouldn't work like that.

the whole drone Weapon thing that Spider man is left by tony stark goes against what happened with Jarvis and directly contradicts what tony learnt in Age of Ultron, so tony stark has designed a space death machine capable of assassinating anyone on the planet via a drone strike and the only security measure set up on this is a voice id that lets you transfer it to anyone? So Iron mans a ****ing moron in this now? or did he just forget that automated death machines have a really bad habit of going wrong or falling into the wrong hands

whats with the end and mid credits and end credits stuff surely plot points as big as

spiderman has had his identity exposed and nick fury is working with the skrull and nick fury on earth is a skrull

shouldn't be relegated to bits that half the cinema don't even bother to stay and see. if i rocked up to the next spiderman film with all this stuff as the norm id feel like i missed a film somewhere along the road.

Sony Pictures have announced that they have staked a claim on the release date of October 8th 2021 which they will use to open a currently untitled Marvel film. At present Sony has three definite Marvel films on the way. “Morbius” is hitting July this year and has already released a trailer so it’s unlikely […]
