This. I have no idea how you can even call something a failure in this case. People are still working their way through the other marvel series among many others.

Marvel’s “Black Panther” regained some awards momentum tonight, the film taking the top award for best performance by an ensemble cast in a motion picture at the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards, along with nabbing an award for its stunts work. The 25th annual ceremony highlights performances across film and television with actors voting on […]

If you ask the Marvel fanbase who would be the best fit to replace James Gunn in the director’s chair on the third “Guardians of the Galaxy” film, it would likely be “Thor: Ragnarok” helmer Taika Waititi. Waititi’s comic sensibility seems the most suited for the material, but the New Zealand filmmaker is also an […]

Taiki Waititi effectively says people can rule him out of helming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3

He says he'd be open to dong another Marvel movie after Thor: Ragnarok but that Guardians isn't the one he'd consider doing.

Disney CEO Bob Iger has confirmed that the studio won’t interfere when it comes to the R rated properties they will gain as part of the 20th Century Fox acquisition. Speaking about the nature of the studio opening these types of movies after the acquisition has gone through (via Coming Soon, Iger says the success […]

Bob Iger has stated that future Deadpool films will continue to be R-rated as will other existing r-rated Fox properties with Disney planning to work on how to market them, especially in Deadpool's case.

Disney fired James Gunn only a few months before filming began on “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” and they have since made it very clear he won’t be coming back to direct. However, Gunn’s script for the new film was mostly done with at least one or two drafts completed. Any director who comes […]

Still on my to do list that one, we're about to start Runaways Season 2 - first one was okay but very unsure how much interesting story there is to tell on that one

Reports are saying Punisher and Jessica Jones are cancelled. Is that all of them now?

Yup, the MCU no longer exists on Netflix with all the shows deader than dead now.

                      "They said couldn't be done"

And it was... on CW around 2 years before them and more successfully but still, there'll no doubt be hopes of a Daredevil reboot down the line in some corners.

Almost five years ago, Marvel Studios held an event which laid out the plans for their ‘Phase 3’ films – setting the release dates and titles for their films through to 2019 and, despite the odd subtraction or addition, that schedule has been followed. We’re now at the end of that cycle with “Captain Marvel” […]

Feige says Marvel won't confirm anything about their future slate until after July when Spider-Man: Far From Home launches, that film effectively being the first of the Post-Infinity War Phase Four era. He does however speak in plain terms that Black Widow is happening and that it isn't going to be R-Rated

Some fans of Netflix’s “Daredevil” are really putting their money where their mouth is and have launched a considerable effort to raise public support for the show and convince those in charge to save it. “Daredevil” was the third fatality of the end of the Marvel-Netflix era with all five of the shows on the […]

Passionate fans pay out their own pockets to pay for street adverts campaigning for Daredevil to be saved. They should let it go though, if it's correct that all the Netflix MCU shows were haemorrhaging viewers then there's really no need to bring these incarnations back after 2-3 years off air.

Right now it’s clear that Marvel will not be showing their hand as to what comes next for the MCU until well after “Avengers: Endgame” and likely after “Spider-Man: Far From Home” hits cinemas. We do know some of the projects currently in the works, even if they haven’t officially been announced, with one of […]

Feige says that the plan with The Eternals is to take inspiration from the Jack Kirby 60's and 70's storylines with an ensemble cast from the off and where the storyline covered tens of thousands of years.

He also confirms that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 will use Gunn's script

Marvel Studios made a very big deal about keeping the title of the fourth “Avengers” under wraps, ultimately doing so for years, because they suggested the title itself was something of a spoiler. In a new interview with Collider, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige says all the speculation over the title got “blown out of […]

Another week, and some more Marvel movie rumors are added to the mix. First up, a new report at We Got This Covered suggests Marvel is quietly working on an R-rated “Blade” movie with Wesley Snipes expected to return in some capacity in a ‘passing of the torch’ style film which will see him training […]

In don't-believe-it-for-a-single-second news, a rumour has sprung up that Marvel is planning an R-rated Blade movie with Snipes returning to pass the torch. It couldn't be more false if it tried that one.

Also, that they're already working on a Fantastic Four movie - again, I very much doubt it
