Don't bother with LEGO Ninjago movie. Not a good release so soon after Batman, which was the nuts.

I quite enjoyed Lego Ninjago. Certainly not as strong as Movie or Batman but better than I thought it would be

Warner’s animated sequel “The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part” is reportedly heading for an opening weekend of as much as $55 million at the North American box office. Early tracking for the February 8th release has been revealed with that number coming in under the surprisingly strong $69 million launch weekend of the first […]

Tracking has the second Lego Movie on course for a $55m opening which is a chunk below the original. Personally, this isn't that bad and should be expected. The original kind of came out of nowhere but as this is the fourth Lego movie and the spin-offs saw a decline from that too it seems in line with the franchise roof.

The critical aggregate website currently has the movie sitting on a solid 92% (7.3/10), a little shy of but not that far off the 95% (8.1/10) of its predecessor, and just above the […]

Reviews for The Lego Movie 2 are coming in strong, the films director says the film was helped by Miller and Lord being fired from Solo: A Star Wars Story as they were freed to come in and help polish both this and Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse

Universal Pictures and LEGO have announced a five-year exclusive agreement to develop, produce and distribute theatrical releases based on its intellectual property and original ideas. Lego have signed a new five year deal with Universal Studios to take over helming future Lego movies. Presumably the previously announced Brick Race and Lego Batman 2 films are now dead.
