Well, 2021 will be Metroids 35 Anniversary year too so the Trilogy could always pop out then

Speaking of which....this is the very week that The Adventures of Samus Aran turns 35.

Much like Nintendo I hadn't really planned on doing anything for Metroids anniversary with the franchise specific entries to the RS threads now done. I'd planned to spend some time digging into around 20 over a long time that I looked back and thought didn't really get the discussion going that you'd think the franchises involved would get. I ran one for Metroid way back in RS024, I'm happy to start with that one, it'll be an interesting one to revisit given the timing and upcoming Dread too.
