Disney has set a massive movie licensing pact with Sony Pictures for the U.S. that promises to reunite Spider-Man and other Marvel brands.
Sony has inked a new deal with Disney which will see a huge amount of Sony's content released onto Disney+. As part of this the existing Spider-Man content will also be making the jump, a solid move if say... the previous Spider-Man films etc were about to be canonised. In effect though the deal means Sony's 2022-2026 movies will release at the cinema first, then be on Netflix for a couple of months before moving to Disney+ for several years onward.
