          Archie Yates, from Jojo Rabbit, has been cast in the lead role for Home Alone 6 on Disney+. Ellie Kemper and Rob Delaney have also been cast as his parents. In the new film a kid has stolen a priceless heirloom and the parents go to war with the kid to save their home that financial ruin risks them losing. A kind of small inversion of the concept.

                Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki is to lead the cast in a TV series reboot of National Lampoon's Vacation movies for HBO Max. The new series will be called The Griswalds though it's currently unknown if it is canonically connected to the films.

                    Wall Street analysis firm Cowen & Co. report that the Disney+ streaming service has racked up an estimated 24 million U.S. subscribers as of the end of November. The report, based on a census-weighted survey of 2,500 U.S. consumers conducted last month, blows away previous Wall Street forecasts which the service amassing less than 20 […]


                    As of the end of November, Disney+ has amassed 24m US subscribers. Wall Street had projected 20m subs by the end of 2020 showing the extent of the services popularity. In the 4th Quarter Netflix have reported 7.6m new accounts with 600,000 in the US though 1m cancelled their accounts coinciding with Disney's launch.
