The CW has handed out straight-to-series orders for both the Arrowverse spinoff series “Superman & Lois” and the reimagining of “Walker, Texas Ranger”. “Walker” will star “Supernatural” regular Jared Padalecki as Texas Ranger Cordell Walker, a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns home to Austin after being undercover for […]
CW have ordered Superman & Lois to series adding another string to the DCW bow, speaking of which...
Over the course of the Crisis on Infinite Earth's storyline the DCW Universe has also expanded to connect itself to the Adam West era Batman show, the DCU Services' Titan's series (and by proxy Doom Patrol) and thanks to sequence that was short but no doubt a logistical nightmare to pull off...
The last two parts of The CW’s five-part “Crisis on Infinite Earths” special event aired tonight and included one cool surprise. Ezra Miller, The Flash form the DCEU films like “Justice League” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” got to share the screen with “The Flash” series leading man Grant Gustin in a cameo […]

Sunday night’s “Batwoman” episode changed the game as Ruby Rose’s Kate Kane, in her Batwoman garb, officially came out to the world as a lesbian – the first major screen superhero to do so. Batwoman hears the story of a teenage girl whose parents refuse to accept her real sexuality and, despite the huge risk […]
Though nothing new to anyone familiar with the character, last night Batwoman made history by becoming the first major superhero to come out in TV history

This is a shocker: Ruby Rose, the star of the CW's freshman drama series Batwoman, is leaving the Warner Bros. TV/Berlanti Prods. drama after one season.
After one season Ruby Rose has dropped out of playing Batwoman in Batwoman. The show will return for a second season but will make the rare move of recasting the lead character.

Going to be weird with a totally different person in the role, unless they can write the first episode as a passing of the mantle or something
Don't think this one has taken as well as Arrow, Legends & Flash
Still surprised Sky never picked up in the first place.
Wonder what the fate of Stargirl will be over here

We've watched about half of season one, it's probably one of the better seasons across the different shows but given the timing they're presumably going to have to do it the painful way rather than have a narrative out that would normally be easy to do in a universe where multiverse versions exist.
With Stargirl I can see it doing alright but as it was commissioned for the DCU streaming service originally it has a shorter run and higher budget. As it seems to be transitioning over it feels like it may suffer the same fate as Supergirl and get renewed but have its production values stripped away.
