2014’s “Godzilla” reboot kicked off what has since become a shared MonsterVerse series including the raved about “Kong: Skull Island” and two more upcoming titles – “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” this summer and “Godzilla vs. Kong” in 2020. When plans for this linked universe of films were announced, they only included these four with […]

This is now filming and attention is starting to turn to whether the film represents the end of a four movie arc or whether it will continue strides into being a cinematic universe. The producer of the films is open to more entries but says they're very keen to take it one movie at a time.

Two big monsters tussle in a city. City gets smashed up. Enter player 3 which both monsters defeat together setting aside their 'differences'. Throw in a weak love story between the human characters and maybe a death we are supposed to care about. The End.

You forgot to mention they settle their differences after both monsters had a mother with the same name.

I liked Mechagodzilla more when he was a bad guy.

Them damn monkey-faced alien shapeshifters, the Simeons and their nefarious plans for world-domination.

Michael Dougherty’s “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” is only a few weeks away from arrival in cinemas and the helmer recently sat down with JoBlo to discuss the film. The movie serves as the third entry in a connected ‘Monster-verse’ which began with 2014’s “Godzilla” reboot, continued with 2017’s “Kong: Skull Island,” and seemingly closes […]

Unless something changes, the Godzilla connected films will end with this face off fourth film next year - one entry short of meeting the base rules for Godzilla to get his own Cinematic Universe master thread.

Should Universal extend its plans, the director of Godzilla II has said he'd like to make an entry that is essentially Godzilla BC - showing earliest man try to survive amidst the creatures.

I don't want to see no caveman shenanigans!

I got onboard to see giant monsters smash up Tokyo!

Warners had high hopes for its Monsterverse films. 2014’s “Godzilla” reboot pulled in a fairly healthy $529 million worldwide from a production budget of $160 million. Then came “Kong: Skull Island” in 2017 which grossed $566.6 million worldwide from a $185 million production budget. Essentially on par with the first and things looked good. The […]

With Godzilla II looking to close soft and lose the studio some money there's apparently rumours this 4th film will be delayed, presumably to a less competitive window

                    This is great news!

The budgets are going to get cut so much that they'll eventually have to revert to rubber suits as that's all they can afford.

Yes, and maybe it will have to be shot in the daytime too.

Both great suggestions for how to improve things Hollywood. Take note.

The upcoming Adam Wingard-directed “Godzilla vs. Kong” marks the culmination of a four-film arc that began with the “Godzilla” reboot back in 2014. Originally slated to arrive this month, it was pushed back late last year to November 20th 2020. Even so, it’s now looking like the film could be pushed back a further six […]

Looking likely to get a six month delay - very wise.

It just won’t stop. Warner Bros, in the wake of moving Tenet from July 17 to July 31 and Wonder Woman 1984 from Aug. 14 to Oct. 2, has shifted a number of its movies on the 2020 schedule to deeper in the calendar.  Matrix 4, which currently paused production in Berlin but might restart next month goes from […]

                              Delayed till 21 May 2021
