Nope, not a HD Remaster for once. Warner Bros have accidentally revealed that a sequel to IO's recent Hitman reboot is on the way and that they will be publishing the game on their behalf.

The game will be revealed later this week but they did leak the logo

IO have confirmed Hitman 2 will release on 13 November 2018 on PS4, XBO and PC. The sequel will release as a full title, not episodically like the previous entry. The games story is a direct continuation and IO says, though they've abandoned the episodic release format, the game will receive regular post-release content such as Elusive Targets etc.



The announcement trailer is voiced by Sean Bean so... game of the year then.

Hitman 2 also introduces Sniper Assassin, an online co-op mode where players team up to tackle targets. Pre-orders gain immediate access to the mode on a single map.

Bit of an aside but the first game appears to be part of the Humble Monthly this month, which is like $12, among other games.
