It'd be more gash software emulation that everyone is already sick of, so it wouldn't.

An FPGA/Lindbergh solution which could offer new mid-2000's era software would be amazing while also being viable for indies. Switch levels of power without the need to go handheld.

If revolutonary, then it's about a good 3D Sonic game.

The entire model 1,2 and 3 colection on a FPGA system. Now that would kick arse.

Xbox Series X to be SEGA-branded in eastern markets.

Best guess is they're buying or merging with another company again. Nothing else Sega would do these days would cause a ripple much less a shock.

Holly crap, that means I'll get a new Sega console. . That is amazing.
That would be cool if it was true.

Calling it now. Selling all their game IP to either MS or Sony.

Edit. Beaten to it by Junko.

Do Sega even make games anymore? 50p merger.

They have a lot of nostalgia to cash in on ... but it sounds like it might be something less obvious. Expecting a bit of an anti-climax, whatever it is.

Rumours are the PS5 will get shown next week... And Sega saying this... Putting 2+2=5... Sony to announce ownership of Sega and show a new Sonic exclusive to PS5.
Also a flying pig goes by.
