Is he CG because those little ear add-ons are too expensive to make?
Edit: I have reliably been informed by a friend in VFX that it's because an average vfx artist's salary is less than the cost of a pot of blue paint.Last edited by Dogg Thang; 11-02-2019, 08:18.

So, Emma Stone will be playing Estella, the character who transforms into Cruella as part of an epic piece of miscasting meaning Disney is still on the hunt for someone to play the films main villainess. The film is a prequel and will be set in London during the 1970's. Emma Thompson, Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman, Julianne Moore and Charlize Theron are said to be under consideration.

2 minutes later and here probably is the problem as highlighted on Era, it's the realistic stylings of the remake:
Simba being blamed by Scar for the death of Mufasa and scared away from the Pride lands
Impressive benchmark in CG but utterly void of character and emotion
Much simpler due to handdrawn animation but reeks of character and emotional response
