    I always pined for that.

    Prob pants now, right?
The sequel, Line of Contact was amazing. I remember coming into work every morning and checking the war map to see how my faction were doing. The day I came in and saw a third faction had joined the fight (as mercs) was fabulous, as was the experience of finally coming up against someone piloting a Behemoth when they launched an EM pulse and shut down my mech, followed by me frantically powering it back up only to be immediately obliterated by the aforementioned Behemoth attacking me with a plasma sword.

Xenosaga is excellent but you can't really compare it to Blade. One is a superb strategy based RPB series and the other is a messy and at times needlessly complex pretend action RPG.

Xenosaga reminds me at times visually of Thunderbirds, it's a great style that works really well to give a really clean look to it. It's not super fast paced though and has too many scenes at times. Although the second game is half the length of the first.
