Hey all,
Just set up the aforementioned monitor Mr CMcK very kindly gave to me at the end of last month - and it's looking great! However, it's not currently accepting my N64 (S-Video) or NES (Composite) - I'm met with scrolling interference. Both consoles are NTSC. Is there any reason why this might be? The monitor clearly accepts NTSC signals, as the manual frequently mentions NTSC-specific settings. Here's how the inputs are hooked up.
Side question: how do you set up geometry for a curved CRT screen? I've set it up best I can for the time being, but it seems I choose between:
1) fit the picture to the curved edges of the screen, but distort the picture
2) get everything in proportion, but cut off the corners
3) fit to the corners, but end up with black borders (my current solution).
Not sure which is the most satisfying alignment here...
