    Showtime's Penny Dreadful is getting a revival in the form of this sequel series which will follow a new cast of characters in 1938 Los Angeles. It will deal with those allied with the Devil facing against those allied with Santa Muerte and will incorporate the real politics and social issues LA faced at the time.

      I'd meant to watch the original series but haven't gotten around to it. I might try and catch-up though.

      Confirmation of Dormer's addition to the cast has raised my interest.

            April 16th, first trailer and first thought is how it seems to have nothing in the slightest to do with the original show... at all.
