Ive worked just over 40 hours in the last three days, all outdoors. This should be an irk, but just had a chat today and I'm being given a tidy wee Christmas bonus for having done it, and I can go home Wednesday night and I'm off until the sixth of January. Nice.

One of our nice patients brought in a box of Christmas chocolate biscuits and some coffee for us which helped us get through a day of the phone constantly ringing ("I've had a toothache for weeks, I thought I should get it seen today!")

Today was my (hopefully) last day working in Reception this year, just 2 days with my regular dentist who I love working with and one day with a guy I rarely get to work with but is sweet, if rather religiously political, so that could be a fun shift.

Might make some last minute crafts to take up for Christmas or at least prepare some to start sewing. I've started on another bloody reindeer I swore to myself I was not going to make more but, here I am cutting patterns out and selecting felt. This one is going to be blue and white.

Was the second of four Xmas dos this aft/eve. Went much better than Friday's, I still find it hard to fully relax on these things but a good crew was assembled, there was no trouble and we all sodded off at the same time. Yeah.
