I've been waiting for this forever and it's finally out

I've not got too far into it yet but It really does feel like an 8bit version of the SNES game, from the layout to the Mayor's house you get for reaching an early population milestone, it's all there.

This looks like everything you could want from a NES version of the game. It's great that people can finally play it on the NES after all these years.
