I am glad SNK upped the presentation after KOF XIV, I did try the demo and thought it was fun but tbh not really my sort of combat

Finally got to try this tonight on Switch, after snapping up a cheap copy... And I'm not feeling it.

It's a knee-jerk reaction, admittedly.

First, it might be because it's the Switch version and that must've been a visual downgrade, but I find the backgrounds really "busy" and the characters don't stand out from them so well. Also, I can't help but feel there's some slowdown? And half the fighters are paid DLC.

Gameplay-wise apart from that it seems fine. Just, given that a range of the earlier titles are available on the eShop, I'm tempted to sell this and buy some of the SNK classic arcade game ports instead.
