            The added bonus here is it's also the soundtrack that no Megadrive fan will argue against in one of their "MD has better music than the SNES" moments

            I play Super Rtype just for the first level music

            Same with Fantasy zones first level

                @Team Andromeda

                All good tunes. The tune from PD Orta is brilliant. Love that Star Fox tune. A great tune from RSG. The tune from Gynoug is pure nostalgia.

                @garrz32

                That tune from Dangun Feveron has a very funky 70s sound.

                Yeah, it really shows off how special the SNES sound chip is.

                It really sets the perfect tone for R-Type.

                      Bloody hell... that really rocks the Mega Drive. The musician really knew how to make the hardware sing.

                        Galaxian - no music but I love the in-game throbbing sounds of the enemies, a beat in itself
                        Moon Cresta - the intro tune bit

                        Uridium C64
                        Delta C64 - Rob Hubbard was/is a genius
                        Hybris - Amiga - excellent drum section
                        Battle Squadron - Amiga - one of the best game tunes on the Amiga full stop

                          Dangun Feveron is not everyone's cup of tea, strange game but one that stands out.

                          Don't be fooled by the weird music & gameplay, this is one hard shooter

                            I was listening to this the other week and it really shows off the Amiga sound chip.

                            I've played it using emulation. It's a nice looking game with a distinct vibe about it. I just noticed that's it's on the PS4 and XB1.
