It really feels like we've over turned a rock, seen the horrible squirming madness underneath and just welcomed it in to our lives.

The House has voted largely in favour of condemning Trump's decision to leave Syria, a move that Trump hours early referred to as strategically brilliant, those voting against Trump including 60 Republicans.

And new tax records of Trump's relating to two properties have shown major discrepancies between the figures Trump told lenders and what he told tax authorities

Want Trump removed? New data shows Fox News is a huge obstacle.
"A new study just out from the Public Religion Research Institute sheds light on this dynamic in a remarkable way: It shows that rank-and-file Republicans who watch Fox are far more loyal to Trump than those who do not.

The poll, which surveyed more than 2,000 Americans, finds that an astonishing 55 percent of Republicans who watch Fox News as their primary news source say there is almost nothing Trump could do to lose their approval. By contrast, only 29 percent of Republicans who don’t cite Fox as their primary source say this."

We didn't mention it here, but for a while, Trump was planning on hosting the G7 summit at one of his own hotels, the Trump Doral.

Obviously, this goes against the restrictions of being President and having your own business interests, something Trump has ignored, but when even Fox News commented on it, he backed down, in his usual way:
"So interesting that, when I announced Trump National Doral in Miami would be used for the hosting of the G-7, and then rescinded due to Do Nothing Democrat/Fake News Anger, very few in Media mentioned that NO PROFITS would be taken, or would be given FREE, if legally permissible!
....Therefore, based on both Media & Democrat Crazed and Irrational Hostility, we will no longer consider Trump National Doral, Miami, as the Host Site for the G-7 in 2020. We will begin the search for another site, including the possibility of Camp David, immediately. Thank you!"

When Jimmy Carter became President, he put control of his peanut farm into a blind trust to avoid a conflict of interest.
It's amazing what Trump will do to further his business (or reduce his handicap) rather than better the country, from hosting the G7, to opening golf courses to forcing Air Force staff to detour and stay at his hotels.

    I'm also enjoying:

USA TODAY's Editorial Board: Trump is 'unfit for the presidency'

"In the 34-year history of USA TODAY, the Editorial Board has never taken sides in the presidential race. Instead, we’ve expressed opinions about the major issues and haven’t presumed to tell our readers, who have a variety of priorities and values, which choice is best for them. Because every presidential race is different, we revisit our no-endorsement policy every four years. We’ve never seen reason to alter our approach. Until now."
