Pretty obvious now that Trump isn't going to concede if the remaining postal votes (of which there are millions still to count) start swinging things in Biden's favour. Biden is still well ahead in the popular vote for what it's worth and there are 71 EC votes left to declare.

There is a higher voter turnout in 2020, but that meant more people voted for Trump this time than they did in 2016. The US is in serious trouble.

The fact that his basis for complaint is voter fraud and yet the same votes are supposedly reliable enough to claim victory is laughable.

Sad reflection though that majority of the country either are or are complicit with massive racist *****

how dose all this works looking at whats counted currently Bidden is ahead even without postal votes, are we expecting a massive swing the other way from the states yet to declare a winner? Hes down in live voting and the popular vote, surely his supporters wont be postal voting so how dose he say hes the winner.

By trying to delegitimise the votes and dispute the results the through supreme court which the GOP stacked 6-3 in their favour shortly before the election.

Think of a boxing match that goes the distance and ends up being decided on points because a boxer disputes some of the scoring.

Except that boxers own corner is 2/3rds of the judging panel that decides the result.

I don't understand all the Latinos in florida voting for trump. He's literally building a wall across the border with Latin America. Voting for their own demise.

That's half of America. It's the darkest of days for the US education system because it's clear as to just how extensively it has failed generations of individuals that they're this stupid and ignorant

Biden is still on track to win the presidency as the absentee ballots that are being counted now are heavily in Biden's favour (78 to 21 in Pennsylvania for example with over a million of them still to count), but they need to be able to count and include them (as is right and proper).

If somehow Trump is able to get them excluded, he will have subverted the election and the US will no longer be able to describe itself as a democratic nation.

The Republicans really have to start deciding how important Trump versus the long term is to them. To break the election system so heavily is to break the constitution and once that happens an awful lot of the things they like become a free for all. They're also creating the precedent for the future for the Democrats to also create a scenario where they force holding office in a loss. On top of that there's the danger for the Republican Party to fully become the Trump Party and if you're a career politician with your own future senior office ambitions he's destroying those hopes.

Wisconsin result should be very soon which will give a further heavy hint as to how close to No Deal the UK is

I’m actually surprised that the Tory government didn’t immediately congratulate Trump as soon as he unilaterally declared victory earlier this morning, the arse-lickers that they are.

Raab did weakly duck out of addressing the wrongfulness of Trumps victory claim though. Utter wusses.

Not confirmed as yet but it's doing the rounds that Trump has lost Wisconsin which tightens the screws yet more if true, if I'm right in my understanding it would mean that Trump has to win Pennsylvania and three of the other remaining four states to win the election.

I saw on BBC that pennsylvania is currently at a 1.3% swing to Biden which, if it closes out at that, means he'll be arms reach from victory.
