All hotels, casino's, bars, restaurants, gyms, malls etc in Las Vegas have been ordered to close for 30 days. For a place like Vegas that is pretty much shutting down the entire economy.

Nothing will be more disappointing than if Biden loses - but loses having campaigned poorly. I mean, Trump cannot have provided more material to fire at him if he tried in the last 4 years meaning no Democrat contender has any excuse to not at least have a solid campaign against him even if it were ultimately unsuccessful

Except any candidate would come up against the same problem - one side lacks any standards and that's hard to compete with. Trump is all that he is and he's creepy, incompetent, childish, unhinged, dangerous and probably criminal and it won't bother his voter base for a second. Those looking for better also expect better in a candidate and so essentially will eat their own - it takes a fraction of the weird behaviour to have people not voting for Biden or any other Dem candidate. They'll split the vote. Uniting an opposition behind a single candidate in that environment is a monumental task.
