Barr has been a massive supporter of trump he pretty much shut down any investigation into trump around the impeachment and decided we didn't need to hear from witnesses. For someone so close to trump to start distancing themselves form him others must be thinking is this the Hlll I want to die on?

It was not clear why Howell decided to release the filing now.
        Wut?

            Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

As beloved as he was influential, people from all over the wrestling world are remembering the legend after the news of his death.

Pat Patterson Wrestling Legend, first Intercontinental Champion, Creator of the Royal Rumble and Architect of the Montreal Screw Job has passed away...

            Legend.

"WWE is saddened to learn that Pat Patterson has passed away at the age of 79.

A true trailblazer of the industry, Patterson was linked to many “firsts” in sports-entertainment throughout his storied career, including the first-ever Intercontinental Title reign and the creation of the Royal Rumble Match. In a career spanning six decades, the renaissance man left an indelible mark on the industry in the ring, on the microphone and behind the scenes.

Patterson began his career in 1958 in his native Canada before becoming a fixture in the Bay Area for nearly two decades. After winning the AWA Tag Team Championship with Ray Stevens in 1978, Patterson moved on to WWE. Under the tutelage of The Grand Wizard, Patterson made an immediate impact and became the first Intercontinental Champion in September 1979. Patterson’s most legendary WWE rivalry was undoubtedly his war with Sgt. Slaughter, which captivated the WWE Universe with Boot Camp Matches and a brutal Alley Fight at Madison Square Garden.

Shortly before his in-ring retirement in 1984, Patterson joined Mr. McMahon as a color commentator. Even after hanging up his boots, Patterson was far from finished reimagining the possibilities of the sports-entertainment industry. In 1988, Patterson brought one of the ring’s most groundbreaking ideas to life by creating the original format for the Royal Rumble Match.

Patterson returned to the ring during WWE’s electric “Attitude Era,” creating many memorable moments alongside Gerald Brisco as one of Mr. McMahon’s hilarious “Stooges.” Patterson even pinned Crash Holly to claim the Hardcore Title. For all his efforts, Pat Patterson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996 by Bret Hart.

In his 25-plus years in WWE, Patterson was synonymous with making history. From the Intercontinental Title to the Royal Rumble Match and beyond, his name will forever be revered in WWE lore. This amazing legacy was captured in Patterson’s 2016 autobiography, Accepted: How the First Gay Superstar Changed WWE, a moving chronicle about his life both inside and out of the ring.

WWE extends its condolences to Patterson’s family and friends."

              In more Trump News

America's Food and Drug Administration has yet to approve the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, which now has the green light in Britain

The President sees vaccines as an important part of his legacy.

              The Daily Telegraph 02/12/2020 Snippet

Donald Trump summoned the head of the US vaccine regulator to the White House amid frustration that America had not moved faster with approval.

Mr Trump was said to be livid that the Food and Drug Administration had yet to approve the Pfizer/BioNTech,, having hoped the US would be the first country to do so.

On Tuesday morning, amid suggestions the UK was close to approval, the in-person presence of Dr Stephen Hahn, Commissioner of the FDA (pictured below), was requested by Mark Meadows, Mr Trump's chief of staff.

There has been speculation that Mr Trump would fire him but, after the 90-minute meeting, the FDA said that “Dr Hahn remains FDA Commissioner".

The FDA has been reviewing thousands of pages of technical information on the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines as it deliberates whether to authorise “emergency use” for high-risk groups.

It has scheduled public meetings for Dec 10 and Dec 17 to review the vaccines, and is expected to make decisions before the end of the year.

Pfizer applied for emergency use authorisation on November 20.

Fortunately people don't get to write their own legacy and those who follow won't be kind. The end of Coronavirus will never be attributed to Trump, his COVID legacy will undoubtedly be its contribution to him losing the election and him overseeing and to an extent being responsible for the most (and unnecessary) US citizen deaths in a hundred years.

Sadly, people do get to write their own legacies and have their deluded fans keep repeating it when you have a media landscape like this.

Thatcher didn't get to write her legacy as a positive one and she has absolutely nothing on Trump. Thing with Trump's base is they're loud and dangerous but they're precisely the portion of the population who don't get to write the history books, angry pre-Trump because they already felt they didn't have a voice, and these days we live on a global stage and for four years most of the rest of the world has looked on the US in horror and disgust. Much as he will play to those 70m voters till he dies, he will go down in history as the worst US President in the nations history.

Fairly recently, Thatcher was polled as the most popular prime minister of all.

Legacies are not written in books, they are written in hearts and minds. Reagan is super popular and W Bush is being talked of as a good president that was reaching across the aisle now. That comes from rewriting the past.

As a general rule of thumb, popular people don't have street parties thrown for them when they die.

These people were as Hilary Clinton called beyond deplorables! That other poll is also in the ultra leftwing Guardian owned and opearted by the Scott Trust, no surprises there as their readership are all Corbynites at heart = Marxist or Communist.

Baroness Thatcher was a great Prime Minister she changed Britain for the better but if you were leftwing or a Unionist you will hate her until your own grave...life is short...enjoy it. Reagan and George W were also great Presidents... let the political flame wars commence!
