I genuinely can't wait to see it running on Xbox One, going back to FH3 on XBO felt rough as hell after PC and playing FH2 on 360 was fascinating too

Yeah I tried FH3 out recently to re visit Australia and the 30fps is jarring. Glad this one has 60fps mode for both Series consoles.

So, is it a load of virtual presentations or any actual shows with a smaller audience?

What are the highlights so far, both in quality of the presentations and the games announced?

I'm totally out of the loop this year, sorry!
Nintendo is in about 2 1/4 hours, they are going to save the show! Yeah no, I don't actually think that.

2020 and 2021 have made me miss the glory days of E3 2019 etc and that's when it was already considered dying

Prediction: Nintendo won't announce any major franchise releases, like everyone wants instead, they're going to reveal...

                  Neo Oil Panic!
As an update to the classic Game & Watch title, we see the petrol station attendant catching the oil and putting it in barrels, only to discover that he's oil too! With his new-found knowledge he uses his oily powers to solve puzzles by sliding under doors, making people slip and obscuring enemies' views to set his inky amigos free.

What do we think their gonna show? their was a version of Genshin leaked a few months back so Im half expecting them to shove a few of the more popular characters in Smash Bros to tie in with the launch of that. No doubt we will also see some dull mario sports game table tennis or tiddlywinks or something and a load of indies and that leaked rabbids game.

So, have Capcom announced a sequel to Lost Planet 2 yet?

                        Comment

                          From most to least likely:

Xenoblade Chronicles X port out for Christmas.
DLC for Game Builders Garage. New EULA that means Nintendo can sell the games you make and not give you any money.
3D world expansion paid DLC for Super Mario Maker 2 instead of Super Mario 3D World 2. Now go make it yourself.

                          Also true:

Bayonetta is still coming! But not yet.
Metroid Prime 4 is still coming! But not yet.
BotW2 is still coming! But not yet.
Splatoon 3 is still coming! But not yet.
F-Zero is not coming. Stop asking. But here is Samurai Goro for Smash.

E3 is no longer a clear lens on the industry | Opinion
This year's show did a good job of focusing on participants - but underlying changes mean its central role is a thing of the past

33% of E3 and Summer Game Fest titles are non-violent (thanks to indies)
Our study shows proportion of combat-free titles rose over 2019, but only 5% were put forward by major publishers

                            Comment

E3's definitely no longer a central player but it's also a hard one to judge given the conditions the last two have been operated under. If there was a way of getting E3 to be focused on reveals then company vids throughout the year more focused on in depth info and release dates etc as well as drag Sony back in some way it could still be a great lightning rod for drawing attention to the industry and its products during the quieter summer months. Everyone half arses it so much it's no wonder interest drops off.

E3 2022 is confirmed and will see the in-person exhibition aspect of the show return to Los Angeles.

I think E3 is becoming more like a gentlemans agreement that this is when everyone shows their cards.
It'd be a shame to lose that with drip feed events instead. I like a big bang to get excited about.
