I’d have the Mega SG as my one console. SG-1000, Master System, Game Gear and Mega Drive all in one neat little bundle. So many good games.

I'm so close Have the HD Retrovision component cables, Brook adapter for DualShock 3/4 use on the PS2, and a 3.5mm male to RCA female adapter for headphones use in my shopping cart on Amazon.

I just need to get it confirmed that I can adjust the volume with the volume control on my PS4 Gold headphones as not many games will let you change that in-game. I know it works on the PS3/4 and Switch but those actually support the headphones

Switch. It's the fastest I've ever reached 100 games on a console.

I would have chosen the DS if it had better racing games. It's a close second.

But which of those three Mayhem? There can be only one!

OG Xbox. It's got a load of great games (you can mostly get for nowt), it's easy to hack, had a ton of well optimised homebew and emulators for it.
I can also experiment with writing code for it, so it's like a Net Yaroze on steroids.

A PC emulating all of them to be fair, probably the SNES.

A SNES with an SD2SNES Pro. Heaven.

Anything post-PS2 era is a ropey choice if your on a desert island... just think of all those patches you can't access
Without that though it's the PS3 with little to no contest barring maybe the PS2

I love the implied assertion that you have a TV and uninterrupted mains power supply, but an internet connection is right out

Not taking the piss here; I'm kinda laughing more at the idea we all make this assumption.
