That's such a great list of films I voted for four. Not sure it that's too many but they're my faves. Looking forward to seeing which makes the number one spot. These 80s polls have been great to go through

        The Dead Poet's Society.

That's the only one I didn't vote for because I've never seen it.

That's gonna mash your poll up!

You haven't seen it? Man, those dead poets are a riot. You're missing out. Dead Yeats is hilarious although things turn a bit dark when Dead Byron comes into it.

              Voting will close tomorrow morning.

The 90's era run will begin in the new year and I think the easiest way of handling them is to continue with three polls per week but running each year in two halves to account for the increased volume of releases. Essentially:

              Mon - Jan-Jun releases
              Wed - Jul-Dec releases
Fri - Overall best of the year

Meaning 1 year covered per week

Isn't it just like those Epic Rap Battle videos on YouTube, but with less dope beats?

Honestly, it's all gold. But I went for The Shining, Ghostbusters, Back To The Future and Robocop.

The best movie of the 80s is THE BREAKFAST CLUB.

                          It's timeless, what a film.

I'm too old these days to see it as a Top 10er but every time I catch it by chance on BBC2 late night or summat, it *always* impresses.

Damn, never been a Simple Minds fan but what an absolute 80s banger for the theme choon.
