Surprise surprise, I really like To Kill a Mockingbird

Whatever Happened To Baby Jane? is a masterpiece too. Terrifying and tragic.

Heh! I'm not actually a massive fan of Dr. No. It's alright and has its moments, but I voted it because of the importance of the start of the Bond franchise.

Not much in that list for me, really.
I've read TKaM and Day of the Triffids, but only seen the Triffids film, which is a bit weak.

You tease, but no GvKK in that list, Supes Neon.

        Enjoying these threads nonetheless!

Carnival of Souls? Excellent eerie horror film which doesn't need jump scares.
The Longest Day? One of the very best WW2 films ever made.
Lonely Are The Brave? One of the best Kirk Douglas films.
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance? One of the greatest westerns ever made
Ride the High Country? Also one of the greatest westerns ever made, and Randolph Scott's final film before retiring.

HMS Defiant is a superb naval film set during a mutiny. Dirk Bogade is a right evil swine. Alex Guiness is wonderful as the ships Captain, well worth a watch.

God, Elvis was really churning them out around this time wasn't he?

Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? and Lawrence of Arabia are both terrific films.

To Kill a Mockingbird is a very, very, very nice film too. And I mean that. It's nice. It's so goddamn nice it's unbelievable. Atticus Finch is just the best guy ever in that movie, Peck plays him beautifully. It's a charming movie.

              Quoted for truth.
