I'm a bit like QC in terms of burn out I think. EDF Insect Armageddon was my firts one which I enjoyed despite how often I heard how it was seen as weaker than 2017. 2017 was fine but by the time I played it EDF4 was on the horizon. That's probably the one I've enjoyed the most and put the most time into if you include 4.1 in particular as well. EDF5 took so long to arrive and was so jacked up in price I held off so I played Iron Rain first I think and with the two games, as much as the core gameplay is stil fun, they feel far too similar to EDF4 so I found focusing on them harder. I'm ready for EDF6 to really shift things forward which I kind of expect it won't

These games are a commitment, though. That's kinda why I didn't want to sign up again.
Yeah, you could play through on Easy mode with one character, but that's not where, for me, the fun begins.
Trying all the characters and increasing the difficultly to improve the weapon drops and working out great character/weapon/vehicle combos.

I got home and started playing. Played until the early hours with UK players, then seemed to stay on until the Americans started instead of going to bed!

Still playing nothing else except 5, my main bloke has over 8k XP and am over 300 hours (think it's about 350).

Done most of the levels on Inferno but in true EDF fashion some of the earlier ones are very difficult to do.
