      Car 005: Ford Puma 2020

Reviving the late 90's name from Ford's mini coupe, this new iteration of the Puma is a mini-SUV aimed at tackling cars such as the Nissan Juke. Taking its engine and much else of the Fiesta the new car bulks up the body for that market that seems to like the bigger vehicles style but can't cope with their size or price tags.

      Cool or Junk?

        I actually quite like that
Has a funky little boot contraption to give extra load space
Not sure I'd buy one but the few I've seen do look nice
        Is it cool?? That's debatable
Can we chalk it up for cunk or jool? Sort of in between?

            If it's a binary Cool/Junk, I'd say cool.
That and the new Focus have a nice shape to them.

Bonus points for the original Puma having one of the greatest adverts ever:

Car 006 - Chrysler PT Cruiser

Is it a car? Is it a black cab knock off? A small van? A miniature hearse? Either way this car divided opinion with those who disliked it's distinct looks doing so strongly and those who loved it becoming obsessive fans. After it's several year run the line was discontinued with no clear replacement made making it a unique road car from the last decade.

              Cool or Junk?

I quite liked them if only for the Dick Tracy type styling.

My ex had one forced on her for a while by her employer while a rep on the road. Awful. Awful to look at. Awful to drive. And not just because it wasn't sporty - it was like driving a tractor in comparison to the entry level golf she had before.

Many a mechanic I've heard say its one of the worst built cars they’ve ever seen. Total junk and never ever buy one.

                      Not cool.

The mini Hearse novelty wears off fast.

                          Car 007 - Morris Minor

First appearing in 1948 and running all the way through to 1972, this car was well known in its heyday with wooden panelled estates also being produced as well as convertible models. Van and low back variants also spun-off making it a common sight on the roads until well into the 1980's. Broadly speaking it went through three generations of revision with the second generation design being the one most car fans will be familiar with as the final third generation also looks practically the same. Competition from the Mini and Beetle eventually forced the car out of production as Morris pursued the Escort market with the Morris Marina. Despite the decades that have passed, the car still enjoys a healthy fan base who have tweaked and maintained the old cars in working order to this very day.

                              Car 008 - Chevorlet Impala 1967

In recent years popularised by Supernatural, the Impala has had several successful iterations but here we look at the 1967 generation of the car. This is one of a litany of American muscle cars from across the decades.

I mean obviously that's ridiculously cool. With the proviso that if you drive one around the UK in 2020 you look like a benny.
