As an Irish person, I can assure you that Michael Collins would have loved Streets of Rage 4 and would have been particularly impressed with the quality of animation and he would have had little patience for those who feel otherwise.

The quality of the animation? excuse me while I'll laugh. Donovan has like 8 frames and Big Ben about 4.

All I can say is that anyone who knows animation will be impressed with SoR4 and the standard of animation in SoR2, as great as the game is and as good as it looked for its time, is nowhere near it.

As much as I love SOR 2 (infact I have just been playing it for 40 mins, just now) the animation is choppier than the high seas. Looks like TA-O-Vision in progress.....
