So - looks like Anbernic don't ship to the USA now, due to the tariffs.

Which titles do you mean? Right the way up to 7? As that would be difficult. But if you wanted PS1 1/Rev/Rage/Type4 then most devices will do those. Be cautious when looking for solutions for the PSP; a lot of reviewers on YouTube will say "runs fantastically" while you can see the game they're running (usually Chains of Olympus) running like crap simultaneously as they speak. Even a lot of the reviewers just aren't discerning; I saw one that said a handheld was the perfect Saturn machine while seeing its Virtua Fighter 2 framerate was all over the place.

6 and 7 may be a bit too far/pricey. Maybe I was thinking Ridge Racer V and Rave Racer. More specifically, I think I'd like my next handheld to be able to emulate N64, Gamecube and Saturn.

It's not only Anbernic. Miyoo also don't. So no Miyoo Flip for the US it seems.
Good old Trumple pissing off his own citizens. But then again the majority asked for it if the poles are to be believed.

Makes me wonder if - like if people had been on the fence about any of these devices for a while - maybe now's the time to jump on them before the market changes.

I'm still not sure about this. It's like I said above, here's a video of someone who's recorded a guide to setup Saturn stuff on the new Retroid Pocket 5:

To be fair to that guy, he's not presenting that as "this is amazing, check this out" but tons of the reviews do that. Then here's Virtua Fighter 2 running at its proper framerate on different hardware:

I'm not sure with some of these content creators. Like... It's got to a point where I don't think some of them are lying, I've genuinely started to think some of them can't tell the difference. I actually had a "bit of a go" at one of them a while back, Retro Game Corps, because they're very respected in this space and they were saying Dreamcast was "perfect" while you could literally seesomething like Soul Calibur (should be a locked 60fps) onscreen with a framerate using frameskip and dancing around 45-60.

This makes me REALLY wary about Saturn emulation because people say "it's fine" but videos like that make me wonder if those saying that are qualified to do so.

Saturn emulation on the Flip Ver2 is slow on some games. I show VF2 in my video pointing out that it runs but slow. Shinobi was full speed mind you but had timing issues when the character flashes when being hit. I believe this is due to a PAL ISO being used with NTSC emulator settings.
