Bridge adapter to allow US SNES carts to work on a Super Famicom without any nasty cutting of the console shell. I believe it allows SFC carts to work in a US SNES without cutting the tabs in the cartridge slot also, but I can’t confirm.
If you’ve got a modified PAL SNES console, then you’ll also be able to use this to play US carts (depending on your mod, some games like Super Mario RPG may not work).
This adapter does nothing fancy, it doesn’t bypass any region locking, it simply extends the cartridge port.
Some discolouration on the rear of the adapter (this shows how much the adapter sticks out the console).
