The CD-I is so different from all other consoles, that it almost makes one worth owning LOL. I do like those old FMV games. Sure, if it was your only console, it would have been horrible and a joke, but I enjoyed quite a few of the games.

I remember always seeing it in Dixons around 1991-1992 -- and I sort of wanted one, but it was pretty expensive and I just couldn't justify asking for one for Xmas. I know it would have felt like a waste of money. Burn Cycle is the most impressive game I've seen for the system.

It says the 3DO Robo only sold around 500 units, so was unsuccesful. It's funny that the 3DO tech ended up being used to run VCD porn in love hotels.

I was surprised to know that the Megadrive has basically been in production nearly constantly since 1990 in Brazil and went through multiple variations and even had new EA games released on it from mobile games and has a version of Fifa 2008 for it...they then redesigned the shell completely due to the success of the Wii and relreleased it again then after that created a Guitar Hero Game for it complete with peripheral!Last edited by CAPCOM; 14-06-2020, 23:54.Comment
