You have such little faith. Being a proven winner, Lady Dildo will soon have you eating those words.

You just know, before the paint has dried on the new sign, they're working out which spiffing chums they should hand out new contracts to.
"Timothy is a major shareholder in that bouncy castle business, he says he's overqualified but happy to supply ventilators."
"Jeremy is the silent partner in that pest control business, so wants to supply medicines. He does throw a spiffing party, so why not?"

It's got a nice ring to it. Needs a logo or symbol to go with it maybe.

COVID recorded deaths pass 57,000 in the UK
Well as 20,000 deaths was originally seen as a "good result", the government must be ready to celebrate this as an absolutely stonking success!

Some interesting updates on that link.

No time like the present, says Matt Hancock
Mr Hancock said he had “every confidence” that the new organisation will be “ world-renowned ”.
He added: “There’s also the question of why now.

“One of the lessons I’ve learned from the crisis is that if something is the right thing to do, then putting off the change is usually the wrong thing to do.

“I hope we have struck a balance between showing exactly where we are going immediately and then having the time to ensure that we build that institution properly.”

Hancock criticised over breaking up Public Health England
Richard Murray, chief executive of health think tank The King’s Fund, criticised Matt Hancock’s decision to break up Public Health England (PHE).

He said: “Public Health England appears to have been found guilty without a trial.

“It is unclear what problem government are hoping to solve by carving up PHE and redistributing its responsibilities.

“Undoubtedly, there are questions to be answered about England’s handling of the Covid-19 crisis, but the middle of a pandemic is not the time to dismantle England’s public health agency.”

Matt Hancock 'didn't even mention a pandemic' when setting out PHE objectives earlier this year, Shadow public health minister claims
Shadow public health minister Alex Norris said: “The structural reorganisation that Matt Hancock has announced today is a desperate attempt to shift the blame after years of cutting public health budgets, when the real shift we need is towards an effective local test-and-trace system that delivers mass testing and case finding.

“Matt Hancock himself was responsible for Public Health England and in setting PHE’s priorities last year – ministers didn’t even mention preparing for a pandemic.

“This announcement gave no answers on what will happen to other vital areas of public health like addiction, obesity and sexual health either.

“We went into this pandemic with health inequalities widening and life expectancy going backwards for the poorest.

“We have seen that Covid-19 has thrived on these inequalities, disproportionately impacting the poorest and black, Asian and minority ethnic communities.

“A strong public health sector is needed more than ever.”

"Some notes on Dido Harding, in case you're unfamiliar with her impressive record of failing upwards

The Evening Standard – a Tory-supporting paper – wrote of her “Dido Harding's utter ignorance is a lesson to us all”

She ran the programme that spent 15x the worldwide average building a tracing app that she was told wouldn’t work, unsurprisingly didn’t work work, and which it then scrapped without publishing accounts of where that £13m went

She runs Test and Trace, described as “not fit for purpose, let alone world-beating” by the chair of NHS Providers

Her £100m Test and Trace programme traced only 56% of cases, compared with Blackburn council, who traced 98% without a penny of new funding

She is a Tory peer, married to a Tory MP, who is adviser to a group that campaigns for the defunding, break-up and sale of the NHS; and if you wanted that, putting somebody famous for "utter ignorance" in charge would be a good first step

She’s on the board of The Jockey Club, which is based in Matt Hancock’s constituency and gave tens of thousands in donations to Matt Hancock, and then coincidentally got dispensation to stay open for 180,000 unwitting fans when the Covid 19 outbreak began

A major Jockey Club sponsor is Randox, to whom her husband is an adviser, and which coincidentally got a £133m contract to produce testing kits without any other providers being allowed to bid for the work

Her husband – get this – is a “Govt Anti-Corruption Champion”"

How is this allowed to happen? Kier Starmer needs to go full on Trump in calling these maggots out. By that I mean clear and effective media, with nicknames for each if need be.

                          May I suggest Dildo Hardon?

She’s doesn’t allow access to all areas.

By people voting for the tories giving them a 80 seat majority - that said, any government of any flavour with such a majority is never going to legislate for something that weakens that power. These things are only ever called for by oppositions.

Talking of Kier Starmer, I'm finding it interesting to read about people disliking him.
Criticism of him writing in the Daily Mail, when realistically, that's exactly the people you need to be reaching out to.

I'm enjoying seeing the DM start being critical of Boris Johnson and the Tory Government.

Only the S*n and Torygraph continue to refuse to be critical.

For example, the S*n paints a happy picture of Johnson going glamping with his fiancée and 3 month old son, Wilfred:
"Fiancee Carrie, 32, their three-month-old son Wilfred and dog Dilyn will be joining him in a remote location.

Sources close to the family say they will be north of the border for six days, which will include a “couple of days of camping”.

The PM is still set to work and make crucial calls on Covid-19. Officials are expected to deliver his red box each day.

But a source said the Premier will take a slower pace, as “since recess began he has been working every day”."

                              SICK BAG WARNING:
What Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds might look like on their camping trip in Scotland

However, the Daily Mail is more critical:
"The Prime Minister and his fiancee, Carrie Symonds, are taking their three-month-old son, Wilfred, on a camping holiday to Scotland.

But Petronella Wyatt, who had a four-year affair with Boris, has voiced her scepticism publicly.

'Boris and Carrie are going to spend part of their Scottish holiday camping,' Petronella told friends online. 'That will finish off their relationship. Boris can't cook and Carrie only likes luxe private villas in hot places.'

Carrie's previous holiday with Boris was to the Caribbean last winter. The £15,000 trip caused controversy because of mystery over who paid for it.

After much confusion and demands by the Labour Party for a formal inquiry by parliament's watchdog, it emerged that Conservative donor David Ross, co-founder of Carphone Warehouse, assisted Boris in securing a holiday villa on the private island Mustique.

Boris had promised to leave his second wife, Marina Wheeler, for Petronella, daughter of late journalist and Labour politician Woodrow Wyatt. They met while he was editor of The Spectator magazine and she was his deputy. The affair resulted in a miscarriage and an abortion.

Boris was fired from his shadow cabinet post in 2004, by then Tory leader Michael Howard, for lying about the affair, as he had initially categorically denied it."
