This pretty much sums up the issue with schools. The ability for children to spread the virus amongst each other and then share it into households via transmission is one issue but no matter how much BS about low cases the Tories spit out, it will take very few examples of the above linked for parents to overrule school orders. People don't mess about when it comes to their kids safety

Our Government follows the science so as the scientists say that when schools reopen they must have routine COVID testing in place I'm sure we'll see that announced by Boris any day now... any day now... aaaany day.... now...

The number of dead according to the Government is now 46,526 whilst the number deceased with COVID on the death certificate now stands at 56,600. The 24hrs of Sunday leading into 9am Monday saw 816 new confirmed cases of the virus compared to 744 the previous Sunday
Global cases are about to pass 20m. And Greece has formally begun its Second Wave.

Russia on Tuesday became the first country to approve a coronavirus vaccine, a move that was met with international skepticism and unease because the shots have only been studied in dozens of people. President Vladimir Putin announced the Health Ministry's approval and said one of his two adult daughters already was inoculated. “I know it has proven efficient and forms a stable immunity,” Putin said.
Putin once again showcasing what a POS he is, has registered a pre-Phase 3 vaccine for use and given it to one of his daughters.

Stil-tons to do as talks over blue cheese become an unlikely obstacle to a post-Brexit trade agreement.
