To a degree Corbyns handling of it at thsi point is probably a good thing for Labour, really helps Starmer to contain it as being more of a Corbyn-issue of the past than something still prevailent under his own leadership. That Kier has been able to do in a 5 minute speech what Corbyn still can't bring himself to do now speaks volumes

Does anyone here actually believe Corbyn is an anti-semite, in the sense of holding prejudices against the Jewish people and their religion? Clearly there are some nasty ***** in the party that needed dealing with properly, and he dithered and evaded pathetically as they were all old Trots together. However the predicament as I see it is that this particular Trot end of the Labour party has got itself impaled on the fact that any criticism of the actions of the Israeli government are taken as anti-semitism by default. The Israeli government actively encourages this conflation for good reason and to excellent effect. I'm not defending Corbyn, by the way. I think he's a twat.
