Some great highlights there. No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood were a couple of proper heavyweights ... and Ratatouille is a feel good treat. Can't ignore much by Danny Boyle so Sunshine gets a vote too ... and I actually thought The Simpsons movie was great, so much better that I expected.

I’d largely agree with Atticus there although I haven’t seen the Simpsons movie. But I have to pick Persepolis as the best film on the list. If you haven’t seen get it on your to watch list. It’s superb.

Pretty much the same as Atticus as well, with the added guilty pleasures of Shoot 'Em Up and Superbad.

I bloody love Sunshine. Yeah, the end goes off track, but that sense of desperation, isolation and sacrifice are palpable. Chris Evans is monumentally heroic in this, even more than as Captain America, IMHO.
Great disc with extras and commentaries, including one by Brian Cox.

no-one else voted for Smoking Aces yet - HEATHENS!!

No Country for Old Men is head and shoulders above everything else.

Errr is The Road to Perdition a different movie than one I think, i.e. the one with Tom Hanks & Paul Newman?

Jesus christ chosing between There will be blood and No Country is like deciding what child to give a life jacket too.

I gave it to Daniel day Lewis tho expecting a cattle bolt in the head now.
