Is Snubbing on the rise?
Snubbing? Invisible but distressing anti-social tactics on the rise?
Throughout gaming 2016 offensive players would have often just outright use swear words often when they want to cause distress to others.
I noticed since then a sort of rapid decline in outright swearing as a means to cause distress to others.
But with the decline of swearing, unfortunately seems a new problem just as toxic and distressing: snubbing.
How the snub works is you create a socialable atmosphere and invite people to share their
view or just polite conversation.
Now is when the tactic comes into force. Abrupty.
The snubber now makes a rebuff gesture, such as a shrug rolled eyes and tut, as though he's being trolled without invitation by an anti-social stranger. Followed by immediately switching to a completely different conversation out the blue with somebody else as though they'd always been talking and that the polite man agreeing with him was actually interuppting them as a bizzare troll out the blue.
This has the effect of feeling shocked, angry and' lingering distressed' for the person being snubbed. It adds to the distress the fact that a snubber does so only for the reason of causing distress only, not as a retaliation, revenge, only because he's a bit of sadist, that it's without a lesson, can't be learnt from or got around or planned against. One of the greatest mistakes of violence is to learn a lesson from it and seek what that could be, instead of the obvious reason for most violence is often for the sake of it and nothing more. Particularly bolstered with the idea of progress being the errosion of 'well sold' by the 'best quality brain trickster salesman' sell us progress as today... ... 'fascist!!! ideas like manners' , decorum, code of conducts and normal range social behaviour. As we remember last year the marches on behalf of our countries democractically elected choice to make our own choices was scorned by some as 'fascist nazi'ism', which to some is a strange label to apply to a group that defeated nazi's for freedom, and by virtue of their own choice still fight for rights and freedom, - yes even when the belief of human rights and freedom is questioned by the loudest salesman with agenda labelling freedom and rights the pursuit of a 'nazi fascist' no matter whom chooses to say fighting for freedom is obviously a fascist nazi pursuit, somewhat word play comes to mind. Often it seems people have a habbit of moving words around, swapping out words. To see if they can sell an idea better using not so obvious or toxic wording if they can just make a few word swaps to make it sound much more sweet.
Obviously this all sounds like gibberish to a 'man with means', that every day is only candy floss, these concepts must look like gibber jabber. But for normal range people this is a real thing trust me.
Do not go gentle into that good night. XOXO
