1: temporary price increase will mean permanent.
2: will the extra cost mean they'll finally fix all the broken pipes that waste millions of gallons of water? Probably not
3: water companies have you by the balls anyway, it's not like you can change suppliers and what are you going to do, not use water? No you pay what they charge.

Unless I'm mistaken, the water price rise is just for non-domestic customers. Home water use is not covered here. IE sucks for businesses, but my showers at home will still cost the same.
Or am I tripping?

Edit - I mean, the costs will ultimately come to us anyway through our use of businesses. I'm already seeing the covid price jack everywhere. And by sheer coincidence there are numerous businesses I no longer use.Last edited by wheelaa; 26-07-2021, 15:12.

There's probably a bigger problem from metal thieves making them disappear. Whether this would work on the road system I not sure, I'd have to read more on the proposed system (because there are a lot of different ones, even on our domestic railway system).
