In light of the police investigating the police and finding the police acted appropriately at the Sarah Everard vigil and the Government investigating the Government and finding no racism in the government, I'm pleased to announce my report into myself has revealed not only am I a devilishly handsome and slender dude, I'm a shining example to others as to what a devilishly handsome and slender dude should look like.

Thing is, the police probably did act "appropriately", because "appropriately" probably just means "within their defined rules of conduct". It doesn't mean they acted well.

Yes, and I fall within my own parameters of what a devilishly handsome and slender dude should look like.

The point is, they shouldn't be reviewing themselves.

If I sounded like I was defending them, then that wasn't my intent and I apologise for the misunderstanding. They absolutely should not be reviewing their own conduct.

Wasn't this investigated by the IPCC?? Independent means independent doesn't it?

Ho-ho! Chortle. Of course, coppers investigating other coppers sounds just like the sort of thing that inspires total belief that they will get to the bottom of things unencumbered by a sense of loyalty, collegial pressure, management pressure, that "them-against-us" mentality of The Thin Blue Line, Masonic memberships, etc.

Still don't believe me on the bias the current chair of the board has donated over £400,000 to the Conservative Party since 2001, its rotten from the top down and needs a massive overhaul.

                    BBC defending itself again.
                    Apparently this isn't news worthy.

Yeah, I defend the beeb a lot but this is an absolute joke.

The fact Johnson had an affair is not newsworthy; I could get behind that. Firstly because I honestly don't care (I just expect the worst of him by default, and him "diddling the little people" just confirms what I kinda expect so no change there) but secondly because it requires you imagine, just for a moment, Boris Johnson having sex. And I say this as a balding, out of shape guy myself; no-one wants to imagine that.

But the fact that she benefited from this in ways that expose Johnson as corrupt absolutely is newsworthy, and it's prepostorous they aren't covering it more.

Imagine the air time given to it if Corbyn had *checks notes* done anything.
