Yet we get some not some dog food company and a pest control company with no experience with PPE or the NHS. You can't argue that they put in the best offer either as the CEO of the pest control company was caught asking where he could get large quantities of PPE on LinkedIn so he clearly didn't have a ****ing clue.
Look at it another way If i wanted to buy a new TV I wouldn't go too Pets at Home throw a big sun of cash at them and ask them to nip next door to PC world and buy what they felt like, this is essentially what the goverment did by using these company's.

PM announces acceleration of Covid vaccine programme, saying race could become a ‘great deal tighter’

Laugh is, they could have easily just done a watered down version of the easing and had their cake and eat it. There's never been a link in cases between cinemas, museums etc so never a need for them to be shut this long. Reopening could still have happened whilst still keeping foreign travel restrained, kids wearing face masks and not telling everyone they can hug. Now they'll be praying for another fluke
